Ocean Green creates synthetic characters. We think that is only acceptable when it is done transparently, lawfully and safely. This page describes the commitments that are wired into the product — not aspirations, but defaults.

Every persona created with Ocean Green is an AI-generated fictional character. None depict real people. All content is labelled as AI-generated by default.

Disclosure by default

  • A disclosure line (e.g. "AI-generated character 🤖") is added to each persona's bio.
  • An optional caption marker can accompany posts.
  • When publishing, the app reminds you to apply Instagram's native "AI info" label. Disclosure is on by default and only an Owner can change it.

No real-person likeness, adults only

  • References must be synthetic and owned. Impersonating a real, identifiable person is prohibited.
  • Every model is validated as an adult (age ≥ 18) at onboarding, with a consistent canonical birthday.

SFW by construction

Coverage clauses and a sanitiser keep generated content within platform limits — swimwear-equivalent coverage, no nudity, nothing explicit. Autonomy never bypasses this: auto-produced and auto-published content still passes the SFW sanitiser, the QA gate, an identity-drift check and disclosure injection. Any guardrail breach pauses the loop and notifies you.

Legitimate publishing only

Content is published either manually by you, or through Instagram's official Graph API — a Meta-sanctioned method. We do not use browser automation, unofficial endpoints, or follow / like / DM bots. The comment and DM assistant only drafts replies for a human to send.

Honest data

Insights come only from your own accounts via the official API; we do not scrape third parties. Every generated artifact keeps a full provenance record — prompt, model, seed, cost and timestamp — so any question about a piece of content can be answered.

Your responsibility

Ocean Green gives you strong defaults, but you are the operator. You are responsible for what you create and publish and for complying with each platform's terms and your local law, including rules on AI-content labelling and advertising disclosure (e.g. #ad for paid partnerships).
